Drawing has always been important to me and my work has a strong drawn element to it. I take clear glass and layer it with fine metal leaf including copper, aluminium and silver . Wire is also used to add definition to the imagery and then the glass is fired in the kiln.

My work has evolved from observations of pattern and form. Museum collections are a favourite source of ideas and varied influences ranging from the stylised imagery seen in Islamic art and the history of textile design have found their way into my glass.

I welcome commissions. Please contact me for further information.
